The first step is constructing a building that will produce the resources your people will need to make clothes. In Manor Lords, these are leather, linen, and yarn. It doesn’t matter which material you choose to produce at first, as long as your villagers have access to one.
When you have the building constructed, you need to assign a family to work there. As soon as they have started their employment, one family member will automatically create a clothing stall at your marketplace.
The easiest resource to start with has to be leather. In the early game, you will be relying on hunters to obtain a decent food supply so you might as well use the skins. Build a Tannery near the Hunter’s Camp and assign a family to make some leather.
This is the fastest way to get a clothing stall in Manor Lords. The only downside is that you might start depleting the prey deposit. You will want to build a Goat Shed to enable passive yield of hides.
It is better to buy some sheep and get your hands on some wool. Sheep can be slightly expensive at the beginning of Manor Lords but it is worth the investment. You will need to build a Weaver’s Workshop to turn the wool into yarn but you will have near unlimited supply when you do.
If you have enough leather coming in, you can construct a Cobbler’s Workshop to craft some shoes so your people don’t have to walk around barefoot. As soon as you have the materials ready, a clothing stall is automatically set up in the marketplace. This will distribute the clothes around your village, making sure everyone is covered up.
