PUBG's official Twitter has just rolled out the Rondo roadmap on December 19. It's packed with all the exciting new features slated for the January 2024 update 27.2. Now let's take a sneak peek into our predictions for the upcoming detailed updates in the Rondo Roadmap.
CatelogMarket System
Brace yourselves for update 27.2, where you'll encounter a slew of fresh features - some we've been expecting and some that'll catch us by surprise. The star of the show is undoubtedly the Market System. This innovative function is set to transform the way you loot, featuring a design with two distinctive pillars that represent the AI faction, tailor-made for the Rondo map.
This Market System incorporates a unique in-game currency mechanism. You'll be hunting for gold bars and coins marked with the "Battlegrounds" seal, earned by conquering challenges spread across the map. Once you've pocketed these currencies, the Rondo map becomes your marketplace. Stumble upon specialized crates, and you can trade your hard-earned currency for a treasure trove of items. From weapon enhancements and precision scopes to vital healing items, smoke screens, and even the all-new Battle Ready Kit along with signaling flares - the arsenal is yours to claim.
Garage & Pillar UAZ (armored UAZ)
Then, let's talk about the intriguing garage and Pillar UAZ dynamics.
The Pillar UAZ harks back to the classic PUBG days of 2017-2018, a time when the flare gun called in an armored UAZ, much like the vehicle showcased in this image. The upcoming updates armored UAZ, but it may not be as straightforward as before.
We think Pillar AI might be guarding these special garages, and defeating them could grant access to their loot troves and vehicles. However, whether the Pillar AI will be an active in-game threat? We do not know. And will these garages require a security key? It's a strong possibility. Maybe we need spending coins, using tokens, or finding a Rondo security key to gain entry.
What we can confirm about the armored UAZ is Very durable, seems you won't be able to pop its tires. And for those unfamiliar, don't expect to lean out the windows for shooting. It will offer complete protection from gunfire, ensuring that you stay sheltered during your in-game escapades. Stay tuned as we uncover more about these developments in PUBG's dynamic world.
Emergency Cover Flare
Next, we can see the Emergency Cover Flare, we think these cover flares will be found within crates and are likely to appear as World spawns too. Once activated, they summon three deployable shields that can be destroyed as shown on the left side of the picture, but the visible cracks in the concrete suggest vulnerability to damage, like from a nearby grenade explosion to destroying that protective barrier. Clearly, this could be a game-changer in vast, open terrains where cover is scarce.
Battle Ready Kit (new healing equipment)
The "Battle Ready Kit" is a bit of a mystery at the moment, details are sparse beyond its appearance in PUBG's latest promotional clips, where it's notably used during intense combat situations – suggesting it's a type of healing item. As can be seen from its name, this is a medical bag with dual functions. It looks like a hybrid between an adrenaline syringe and a medkit, maybe offering full restoration of health to 100 HP and a complete level four energy boost, filling all the stamina bars in a quick 6-10 second application. Given the high-stakes nature of combat, such a kit could be crucial for survival, making it a vital asset on the battlefield.

Download (1.4 GB)EMP Zone
The "EMP Zone" is a new concept highlighted in the initial hype trailer that—contrary to my earlier assumption of it being a visual effect for dramatic flair—has been correctly identified by some viewers as an actual in-game EMP event. Though it's unclear whether this is a throwable grenade or a natural map occurrence, I'm inclined to believe it will be an organic feature, akin to the 'error zone' in Teo, where rare weapons spawn. In the EMP Zone, I anticipate an electronic blackout—scopes and red dots won't function, vehicles will stall, and other electronic devices may fail. It might even cause your in-game map to glitch. It's an interesting twist, potentially PUBG's take on dynamic weather events like blizzards or sandstorms. Keep in mind these are just my speculations.
Special Drops (new cosmetic items)
The January update 27.2 is set to bring fresh Special Drops, featuring an array of distinctive skins along with unique Contraband crates. The preview shows an ensemble of apparel, including tops, trousers, and footwear that seem to form a complete outfit, accompanied by a mysterious blue schematic. The specifics remain under wraps, but all will be revealed with the release of update 27.2. Let’s wait for the arrival of update 27.2 to receive new cosmetic items.
PUBG 2024 February 28.1 update
PUBG Rondo Roadmap also shows the 28.1 Update this February. Although it doesn't introduce major additions such as new maps or armaments, it promises 4 contents:
●EV charging station
●Pico Bus
●Co-op Climb
●Vehicle Parkour
These updates may seem minor, but they have the potential to notably alter gameplay dynamics in specific scenarios.
