On the very first day of 2024, January 1st at precisely 10:00 am local time, Pokémon Go will launch its New Year’s event, an annual tradition that immerses players in festive merriment until January 3rd, 8:00 pm. This event is not just any ordinary festivity—players can expect a cavalcade of costumed Pokémon to capture, delightful avatar items to don, and a series of themed events that ring in the new year with virtual aplomb.

What's causing a stir among the community is the debut of Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff adorned with celebratory ribbons—a first for these fan-favorite Pokémon.
