To get the Soar Trophy in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 you need to use your Web Wings to glide from the Financial District to Astoria without landing. There is some good news as you can use Wind Tunnels to help you get this trophy.
Gliding a long distance is a little bit easier said than done, especially in a city that really likes its skyscrapers. However, once you've learned where a few wind tunnels are and where to start your journey from, this trophy couldn't be easier to get. If you're struggling, we're here to show you how to get the Soar Trophy in Spider-Man 2.

To get the Soar Trophy in Spider-Man 2, you first need to travel to the Financial District. This is in the south west corner of the map.

Its height will give you a great starting place. | Image credit: Eurogamer/Insomniac Games.Climb all the way to the very top of this building, right to the peak of the angled roof. Once you're here, open your map again and look for Astoria in the north east corner of the map.
Image credit: Eurogamer/Insomniac Games.Once you've found Astoria on the map, place a waypoint marker on the very edge of the Astoria boundary near the bridge. Try to place it on the building nearest to the bridge and the water on the map. We've got an example on the map below to help you:
As long as you make it to Astoria, the specific building doesn't really matter. | Image credit: Eurogamer/Insomniac Games.Once you've done this, exit your map and then turn so you are facing the waypoint marker on your screen. Make sure you're at the very tip of this building, then press and hold down R2 and X before releasing it to use a charged jump to get into the air.
As soon as you're in the air, press Triangle to open your Web Wings and use L3 to direct your Spider-Man diagonally towards the marker. While gliding towards the marker, keep pushing L3 up to keep your altitude but, on occasion, push it down then quickly back up to try to gain a bit more height.
Once you've gone over Greenwich and are near the water, veer left and glide alongside the water boundary of Midtown until you reach a wind tunnel running beside the water's edge towards Queensboro Bridge.
You're not flying, you're falling with style. | Image credit: Eurogamer/Insomniac Games. Now, here's where it gets a bit tricky. The wind tunnel is halfway up the side of Midtown but you've not got a lot of airtime left. Use the L3 trick we mentioned above to stay in the air, or look out for vents on the top of smaller buildings in Midtown to give you a boost.
Once you get to the Midtown wind tunnel, follow it until you reach Queensboro Bridge. There's another wind tunnel under this bridge that leads across to Downtown Queens. Switch over to this wind tunnel and ride it underneath the bridge.
It's tempting to swing under the bridge, but trust the wind tunnel. | Image credit: Eurogamer/Insomniac Games. When you get to the point where the tunnel has crossed underneath the bridge, exit the wind tunnel and use your final boost to get to your marker (it should be very close now). Once you reach Astoria, you'll be notified that the trophy is yours!
