Next, I'll give players more detailed information about all the chapters of this adventure.Kingdom Eighties Full Walkthrough and Guide
I'll walk players through what you need to know for each level and information you might want to know, such as the different bikes and how to find them. If you are one of those people who find it difficult to complete the game, then you must not miss this guide.
Chapter 1
Set in a summer camp setting, you recruit kids and give them bows and arrows or hammers to become archers or construction workers. Complete missions to recruit teenagers to unlock new upgrades/buildings. The teenagers you recruit will rush/speed into Greed and push them back towards you, sometimes even killing them. Since you can't build towers of any kind, there's no reason not to expand your walls as aggressively as possible. Additionally, the recruitment site will not disappear if you clear the surrounding trees.
*Note: Doing almost anything teen-related will trigger the Blood Moon.Previous Kingdom games had peasant mechanics but Kingdom Eighties does not. Instead, you unlock different workstations, like a pizza shop or swimming pool. There children will do "work" and produce coins. The different jobs around camp can be done by any child, with or without a job, so don't worry. You can find three different bikes on the island via:1. Cycling outside the cabin while wearing a mask. Not sure what's so special about this bike as I don't use it. Looks cool.2. There is a yellow bicycle next to the bus stop. The bike has two gears, one for accelerating on grass and the other for accelerating in the forest. You can switch between gears by double-clicking the gearshift.
3. ET bike. There is a spaceship that can only be unlocked on the Blood Moon, which gives you a bike with a greedy critter in the front basket. This bike can jump forward/fly into the air. The lock can be unlocked for 8 or 10 gold coins.
Destroying the portal requires purchasing a dumpster/dumpster and having the fun-loving teenagers push it towards the portal, effectively protecting the kids as they shoot at the portal. The bin can be dragged in either direction, so don't worry if it looks like you can only place the bin on one side. The construction boy can repair it, and you can spend a coin to place it more or less anywhere, turning it into a wall. The end portal is slimy and located on the beach side, and when it's destroyed, it leaves behind upgrades for your wallet. To retrieve the canoe, purchase a dumpster and haul it to the Big End portal, then walk inside with a group of archers and three construction workers. Kill the Greedy and Big Greedy things inside and buy the canoe.*Important: You must escort the canoe back, so don't leave a dumpster behind, this will cause the builder to discard the canoe and you have to redo the whole thing.Chapter 2
Now you're in town! Now recruit kids from the playground. There's only one teen to recruit, an arcade-playing nerd. He gives you the ability to purchase laser guns that you can build around the map. The gun can be upgraded with a shield, which acts like an extra wall, but it doesn't seem to upgrade the laser's firepower. The upgraded part was also smashed to pieces by Greed, but the laser itself survived. It also doesn’t require anyone to operate it.
Lasers come in three different forms: a small bench, a larger and slower arcing projectile, and a straight laser. The smaller Pew Gun is great for standard Greed, while the Laser is better against the bigger guys since it also has a slight knockback effect. When the monitor next to the laser shows the form you want to switch to, you can switch types by paying two coins to the monitor next to the laser. In addition to this, Nerds can also build a portable laser that you can carry with you along with the dumpster when you want to destroy the portal. The final portal on the right doesn't offer any new upgrades or towers, so you can skip it entirely if you prefer. Once you find the Nerd, he can lower the bridge to the left so you can proceed to the next area. There are no portals after that, so once you get far enough to that side, you'll automatically advance to the next chapter. There are two bikes to be found in this chapter:1. Skateboarding! It may look a little underwhelming, but it accelerates quickly and maintains a lot of power. It only gets slower in the forest. If up, you will perform a kickflip.2. Mini truck. Bought at a birthday party. It's not super fast, but you can shift gears to speed up momentarily, and it feels very American. Driving a truck into Greed will kill them.
*A dog can also be found next to your parents' house, but be careful because he will be kidnapped by Greed if you give them a chance, and you can't seem to get him back.Chapter 3
This chapter you're in the city, and kids are now recruiting next to a store labeled "Rich Shoes." There are no teenagers recruited in this chapter, but you do have to break into a junkyard to get upgrade parts for your truck so you can smash the wall on the other side of the city.
There are two different "bikes" to be found in this chapter:1. Hoverboard, is probably a reference to the "Back to the Future" movie. It looks no different than an ordinary skateboard, but it makes a unique sound when sliding. Purchasing a hoverboard for the first time also triggers a shark hologram, granting you the "Eaten by a Shark" achievement.2. Tactical tricycle. Has a decent amount of money and comes equipped with a laser, but it drains stamina like crazy.
To break into the dump, you first have to destroy the portal in front of the dump, then use the trash can + laser device to get to the fence. You have to knock down a few walls, and there will be greed trying to stop you, but it's not hard to get through. There are three different sections that you have to pick up. With these, you can upgrade your truck. You can also destroy the end portal in the junkyard, but you won't be able to enter it, although it looks like you should be able to. Destroying it seems to stop the greed for a few days, and it will rebuild itself if you give it enough time.Chapter 4
Now you come to New World Mall! On your right, you have the entrance to the shopping center, parking lot, and forest. To your left, you can head deeper into the mall, eventually leading to the Greedy Cave entrance. Children can only be recruited from the forest outside the mall.
*Note: If you cut down the trees around your campsite, they will be removed, but you can build a summer camp house without them. I recommend leaving the nearest trees on either side of the campsite and leaving them as is, which costs far less gold. The end portal in the forest once again doesn't leave anything unique, but it will most likely drop the Money Bag upgrade if you don't already have one. There are two new "bikes" in this area:1. My Little Pony! Found in the forest with a heart hanging from a tree branch. Can only be purchased on rainy days. Sometimes you can dash forward quickly, but the standard speed is very slow. But the pony will also pull three gold coins now and then, so there's that.2. Back to the future cars. Obtained by giving a bone to the dog guarding it. This in turn can be found deep in the mall. The car is a bit slow, but if you shift gears you'll get a slight boost and leave a trail of fire - which might hurt greed.
*The final cutscene will not trigger when you place the crown in the correct location in the cave - if this happens, just restart the game. If that doesn't work, then reboot and wait another day.Kingdom Eighties Release Date
