Granny

Granny is a 2017 indie survival horror video game developed and published by Dennis Vukanovic (alias DVloper) as a spin-off of his earlier Slendrina series. It was released on Android on November 24, 2017. Released for iOS on December 12, 2017. and Windows on November 20, 2018. In the game, the player character is trapped in a house and needs to solve puzzles within five days while preventing grandma from escaping.

The focus of the game is to use various items to escape the house over five days while avoiding the granny who is looking for the player. Players can escape by removing the lock on the front door, repairing the car in the garage, or removing the lock on the sewer tunnel vault door. These all require a different set of items.

Granny wanders around the house looking for players, using any noise they make to her advantage and setting up bear traps to impede their progress. If caught, Granny will knock the player unconscious, which ends the day and sends them back to the bedroom they started in. Players can also be knocked out by several other environmental hazards, such as grandma's spiders or falling from the attic. If the player is caught on the final day, a "Game Over" cutscene plays and shows the player Granny killing them in first-person view, before returning to the title screen.
