Several other Pokémon Go events are running throughout the Winter Holiday event.
Costumed Pokémon
Several Pokémon will be making their debut in a new costume as part of this event. The main one is Eevee and all of its evolutions — each wearing a Holiday Hat. The only way to get the Eeveelutions in this costume is to evolve an Eevee that is wearing a Holiday Hat; they will not be appearing in the wild or in raids.

Additionally, the number of guaranteed lucky Pokémon a trainer can receive by trading a Pokémon caught in 2017 has been increased from 10 to 15. This feature only goes live with the Winter Wonderland event, not the beginning of Part 2, as clarified by Niantic below:
Trainers, we'd like to clarify that the guaranteed Lucky Trade with 2017 Pokémon update will be live with the start of the Winter Wonderland event on December 24, 2022 at 10am local time and not with the start of the Winter Holiday Part 2 event.
