Standoff 2 offers a variety of game modes similar to Valve's famous shooter. If you just want to shoot and kill enemies, try the Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch modes, where you can choose to play alone or as a team. You can also try classic mode where you have to deactivate bombs.

In each round, you can choose between two different camps: terrorists or counter-terrorists, each with their own goals. Terrorists must plant bombs and counterterrorists must prevent them from doing so. Whoever eliminates the opponent first, or successfully disables or detonates the bomb, wins. If you have killed all the enemies but a bomb is planted, you must also defuse it. If it explodes before you succeed, you lose the game.
