Darkest Rogue is a fun action RPG with a very interesting premise. As in any dungeon game worth its salt, your objective in this game is to explore dungeons, defeat monsters, and find magical objects. But this time there's a twist: the only way to move is by launching your character through the corridors as he bounces off the walls, just like in air hockey.

Gameplay in Darkest Rogue is very simple: tap your finger on the screen and drag it backward to determine both the force and angle of the shot. Once you're ready, lift your finger off the screen, and your character will shoot out, bouncing against all the enemies, objects, and obstacles in his way. Each hit you nail subtracts some life points, and that amount increases considerably if you manage to land a second hit with the same shot.

As you ricochet through the corridors, the rest of the creatures in the level are frozen in place. Once you're done bouncing around, they'll start attacking you until it's your turn again.

Throughout the game, you can find scrolls that let you improve your character's abilities. There are also merchants with whom you can invest in exchange for new and better weapons, spells, and special abilities.
