In the anime-style role-playing game Blue Archive, you take control of a group of students who have to defend the city from various threats. A video game released by Yostar, the company behind popular games like Arknights and Azur Lane; these titles share similarities with Blue Archive in terms of their visual style and gacha-based character recruiting mechanism.

Blue Archive's primary gameplay mechanic is combat. Each combat encounter consists of brief skirmishes between four main character teams and two support characters, all of which have adorable Super Deformed designs. Your heroines will battle on their own, but you will need to employ their powers when you have enough energy. Each character belongs to a particular class and has a special talent that is all their own. To clear each level, you'll need to assemble a well-rounded team of ranged attackers, support heroes, and front-line fighters.
