In the campaign mode of Frostpunk 2, the starting strategy is particularly important. It determines the subsequent development direction and game progress. Reasonable resource planning, clear development priorities, and careful layout. Mastering a good starting strategy can lay a solid foundation for your campaign journey and meet various challenges.
Campaign Mode Start Guide
1. Start by breaking the frost to the left, and combine with the wind-proof area to form three residential areas, thus perfectly creating a zero heating demand.
2. Plan the food area in the lower left corner at the beginning. Note that each food area only occupies one food grid. Also, make up three food areas with 0 heating demand (Note: Don't worry about not having enough people. Once you build one, just move the workers to the second-to-last grid. There is no difference in the actual worker demand)
3. When you break the frost at the beginning, add two grids of coal to the iron on the right. You can save 20 heat energy later by adding coal to the iron.
4. Do not cover the material collection area during the initial frost-breaking stage because there will not be enough warm tickets.
5. After the frost in the three residential areas breaks and spreads to the logistics area on the left, start exploring the fog on the left as soon as possible. You can find the oil by opening the left door twice.
6.Don't make any promises to coax people in the early stage. When you open the municipal government, click the dictatorship bill on the right first (you must sign with the promise of two communities or you won't have enough votes. Just promise materials, buildings and exploration bills)
7. After the technology opens up coal, go straight to exploration and cables. During this period, do not expand at will. The wider the area, the more chronic death it will cause.
8. When the fourth community came out, the Dreadnought Colony was also found and started to operate oil as soon as possible.
9. If you have 75% oil, you can drive directly into the second chapter. Pure oil is much easier to operate than a mixture of oil and coal.
