Damage opponents with pistols, harvesting tools, or grenades (500)
Image used with permission by copyright holderThis one is a little tricky since you might not typically use pistols, harvesting tools, or grenades during a match. However, the Sidearm Pistol is actually severely underrated and deals tremendous damage, especially to the head. For this quest, you need to deal 500 damage with the aforementioned weapons, which will likely take multiple matches. Prioritize using the Sidearm Pistol if possible to make this quest much easier.

A ranged weapon is an assault rifle, sniper, or battle rifle. So, we recommend picking whichever you’re most comfortable with. We like the Cobra DMR, but as long as you can hit your shots, you can use any ranged weapon you’d like. The nice thing about this quest is that you can actually deal damage to NPCs and even Supply Llamas around the map, meaning you don’t have to strictly rely on shooting real players. After you’ve dealt 200 damage, you’ll complete this quest.
Deal damage to opponents at Loot Lake (200)
Fortnite.ggLoot Lake is marked on the map above. This is typically a high-traffic area anyway, but now that it’s home to a quest, expect to come across even more players. There are a few different ways to complete this quest, such as by damaging NPCs, Loot Sharks, or real players. You don’t need to deal all 200 damage in one match.
Enter a Chrome Vortex (1)
Image used with permission by copyright holderChrome Vortexes are the massive tornadoes found in Chrome areas like Herald’s Sanctum. The map actually tells you where to find Chrome Vortexes, so be sure to check it to see where the closest one is. The best way to complete this quest is to land beside the Chrome Vortex after jumping from the Battle Bus. You simply need to touch the Vortex to earn credit for this one, so once the notification appears, you’re free to glide wherever you’d like.
Pick fruit from Reality Saplings (3)
Image used with permission by copyright holderReality Saplings were introduced a couple of seasons ago, serving as an interesting mechanic that gives players items over the course of multiple matches. We recommend heading to the east of Rave Cave, where you’ll find a few Reality Saplings — but they’re still found in various spots around the map. Plant them in a safe spot, finish the match, and you should see some fruit on the tree.
Search Chrome Chests at Flutter Barn or Shiny Sound (5)
Image used with permission by copyright holderFlutter Barn and Shiny Sound are marked on the map above, so do your best to land by those locations to prioritize opening Chrome Chests. You need to open five, which is certainly possible in one match, but don’t worry if you come up short, as this one is cumulative. Remember, you need to open Chrome Chests, not regular ones.
Use a Dial-A-Drop in different matches (3)
Dial-A-Drops are found in chests and as floor loot around the map and can be used to spawn a Drop from the sky. However, currently, these items are bugged and actually do not spawn in-game. It’s unclear if Epic Games will add them or simply replace the quest with something else, but for now, you can’t complete this one, sadly.
